Festival Journey
KosherSoul is currently in the midst of a successful festival run, continuing to find enthusiastic audiences at Jewish, Black cultural, food, documentary, and independent film festivals across the United States. The film has been officially selected by the Miami Jewish Film Festival, Denver Jewish Film Festival, Columbus Jewish Film Festival, and the Indianapolis Black Documentary Film Festival, reflecting its ability to spark conversations across communities through its exploration of identity, heritage, and the universal language of food.
Additional official selections include the Sacramento International Film Festival, Indie Short Film Festival, Lake County Film Festival, The Savoy Lumière, Ceres Food Film Festival, Burien Food Film Festival, with several additional festival decisions still pending. Along the way, KosherSoul has been honored with a Silver Telly Award and received the Charlie Award for Outstanding Short Documentary from the Sacramento International Film Festival. ln addition to its official festival selections, KosherSoul was invited for a special encore screening at the Pygmalion Festival, further extending its reach to new audiences.
